THIS YEAR'S NASSAU
COUNTY'S CHINESE AMERICAN NIGHT
WILL BE AN EVENING
WORTH REMEMBERING!
Sunday,
August 2 at the Harry Chapin Lakeside
Theatre
at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow at
6:00pm
Opening the evening will be the prancing
Lion Dancers of the Chinese Center on
Long Island bringing fun and excitement.
That evening the extraordinary Shao Lin
Martial Arts troupe will amaze us with
their skills. Tenor Han Jian Wei, the
Chinese Pavarotti, will delight us with
his talent. In China, Mr. Wei has sung
with Jose Cacceras. The world class
Harmonica Master Jia-Yi He is
internationally acclaimed for his
virtuosity and will demonstrate it to
us.
The Chinese American Dance Troupe
Fr3sh
is a vibrant group
of
Asian
American Hip hop group and have been
around for a number of years. Check them
out at the
World Dance Tour
at Roseland and at their
recent audition for
America's Best
Dance Crew in June 2009.
The Dance of the Thousand Hands, a dance
to delight the eyes and ears will be
performed by the CCLI Chinese Folk Dance
Company.
Arthur Lai, vocalist will sing tender
Chinese folk songs for us. Mr. Cao Bao
An and his Chinese orchestra will play
the most beautiful Chinese instrumental
music you have ever heard. Also a
special treat for us will be minority
tribe troupe from abroad performing
rarely seen dances and songs.
Truly Chinese American Night will be an
evening to remember as a fantastic
showcase of the talent of Chinese
Americans here in the United States.

Free Admission. Open to non residents and
residents. Directions: Enter the Park from
Hempstead Turnpike and East Meadow Ave
which is the south side of the park. Drive
north on Park Blvd and enter Parking
Fields 6 and 6A. Must bring lawn chairs.
