On the air continuously
since March of 1999, Labor Lines is a
production of the law firm of Fusco
Brandenstein and Rada, P.C. The shows are
produced weekly at the firms headquarters in
Woodbury, N.Y. The shows are organized by
Victor and Sara Jane Fusco, who is also
Labor Lines Executive Producer as well as an
award winning journalist and the Director of
Community Relations for the firm. The shows
are co-produced, directed and digitally
edited by Rob Jontay, a veteran of Long
Island commercial radio and a independant
radio commercial producer, and corporate /
commercial television producer-director.
Labor Lines airs on AM-1240 on Thursday
evenings at 7:00 PM and again on Saturday
evenings at 6:30 PM.
Host Victor
Fusco, an attorney for more than 30
years. Each week Mr. Fusco speaks with labor
leaders,
rank and file working people, civic and
community activists, journalists and
writers, professors, attorneys,
administrative agency personnel and public
officials on a wide variety of issues of
relevance to working men and women, the
workplace and the community.
Executive
Producer Sara Jane Fusco conceived of
Labor-Lines in 1998, wanting to give a voice
to the
compelling
story of the labor movement on Long Island.
Sara has an MA in Communications from New
York Institute of Technology. For a period
of time she hosted and produced WGBB
Tonight which aired on Monday evenings.
She has served as a board member of the LI
Press Club, and as Director of Community
Affairs for the Law Firm of Fusco
Brandenstein & Rada, P.C.
Technical
Director Rob Jeantet
is a seasoned media-professional, and serves
as the part-time Technical Director of Labor
Lines. A former
radio personality, Rob was the
morning man at Country 94.3 WMJC, WALK AM,
WNYG. He's been an on-air personality at
WALK 97.5 FM, B-103 and the Operations &
Program Manager for Gospel WTHE
1520. He served for a number of years as a
camera technician / video editor then became
the senior writer / producer in the
Marketing Communications video department of
Fortune 200 Melville-based Arrow
Electronics, Inc. Rob also worked for ESPN
and SportsChannel
in sports television and seven radio
stations in the Nassau-Suffolk
